Climate Change Consequences
Climate Change is one of the biggest threats to the Great Barrier Reef's future. These threats are increasing sea temperature which is killing the marine life living in the reef, there's rising sea levels measured as a very high risk to the ecosystem in the Great Barrier Reef.
It is widely accepted that the climate change will cause coral reefs to change, the challenge now is to determine what changes are likely to happen and what effect the changes will have on the reefs ecosystem and on the people interacting with the Great Barrier Reef. Climate Change is an significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over period ranging from decades to millions and million of years.
